When I step behind the lens I know that I am capturing life's little moments. It may be the first of many smiles from a proud parent's new baby that I am lucky enough to catch, or the special bond a family shares, or sometimes even a pouty lip when a toddler has just had enough! It is my job to make time stand still and in that instant give my clients something that will last forever.
My journey in photography has not been a very long one. I bought my first camera (other than point & shoot) in August of 2008. I love expressing my creative side and discovered (through a dear friend) that scrapbooking was a great outlet. I grew tired of mediocre photos that just didn't seem to do justice to the beautiful layouts I envisioned. After a while I decided to bite the bullet and I shelled out $900 for a Canon body and my first lens purchase. It didn't take long for me to become quite the paparazzi mommy. Then... I discovered the wonderful world of Photoshop! I spent literally hours experimenting with different tools and effects and realized I was hooked. I began teaching myself the ins and outs of photography and photoshop. This experience has been such a joy and I am still learning each day! I look forward to building my business and expanding my skills to continue to serve my wonderful clients!
